As CEO of DreamEmpire Films, Joyce Licorish wrote, directed, and produced Garden of Dreams (2025, now streaming on Amazon), helmed Finding Tony (2024), and is currently negotiating an international film adaptation of her bestselling novel The Lost Locket. Her screen credits include appearances in Empire and The Exit, and she won Best Episodic Pilot at KingdomFest 2023 for The Bridge.A celebrated vocalist and Cobb Idol 2021 winner, Joyce has opened for legends like Chaka Khan, Babyface, and The Isley Brothers. She fronts the neo-soul band SoulCandy and performs with The Tre Denard Band in Atlanta. Her voiceover work includes campaigns for Subway and Amazon Audible, and she also coaches aspiring voice talent.On stage, Joyce is acclaimed for her role as Effie in Dreamgirls (produced by FOX TV’s Bob Harbin). Her newest works—Falling in Dubai (BBW romance) and And So It Is (a manifestation guide)—are quickly gaining national buzz.
