Carole Hooven is the author of T: The Story of Testosterone, the Hormone that Dominates and Divides Us. From 2002 until 2023 she was a Lecturer in the department of Human Evolutionary Biology, and served for many years as the department's Co-Director of Undergraduate Studies. Her "Hormones and Behavior" class was named one of Harvard Crimson's "top ten tried and true" courses.
