Well, who better to answer this HUGE question than Wendy Hill, the owner of Hill Start Nutrition Health and Wellness?Our Foodie Collective theme this month is ENERGY FOOD, and Wendy gave us a delicious pancake recipe that you will not want to miss.We have slightly shaken up the podcast and our book for the Book Collective will now run through the whole series giving us, &you, more time to read and talk about the book.We have our Collective’s fantastic comments and we find out what the Government have been up to whilst we were on our holidays and it’s not all good and involves tractors…! Our guest Wendy Hill is a Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist and an expert in female hormone health, Wendy supports women through perimenopause, menopause and beyond. Wendy asks us to just Imagine, that understanding how food and lifestyle can give you more energy and vitality can enjoy life more. Wendy tells us that by making your plate of food more colourful you can still eat the crisps, but by adding in essential nutrients from other food sources you will feel fuller for longer. We also learn the reason you fall asleep after your Christmas dinner, and it’s not about the amount you eat! The book celebrates mothers and daughters and is rich storytelling and is a fascinating insight into an early period in history for a woman.Our WI over the easter break was to complete a Future Learn online course, Understanding Autism, how did we do?
