Dr. Carlos Martinez is an assistant professor of Migrant Health & Social Justice in the Latin American & Latino Studies Department at UC Santa Cruz. Since 2018, Dr. Martinez has done ethnographic fieldwork with migrants stuck at the Tijuana border.
