For the last 12 months Zoe has been campaigning with menopause support for women who are refused testosterone. We learn how a deficiency in testosterone may effect the body in menopause, and it’s not only about libido! In fashion news the slouchy tailored suit is back! Who knew that this fashion trend from the 80’s would make a return to the catwalk?In beauty news Lou struggles to open and then read Maybelline’s new Tattoo Brow, is she going to recommend it? Maddy Anholt is an ambassador for Women’s Aid and her new book, How To Leave Your Psychopath will have you squirming at the psycho’s that are out in the dating world, we begin by meeting Damien…. And he’s definitely on the psychometer. Maddy tells us, What you put up with at the end of the relationship is not what you would have put up with in the beginning. Maddy is hitting the nails on the head with this book. As inflation is on the rise, fuel prices are going through the roof, this month we have decided to look at healthy food on a budget. Jinty kicks off this month’s foodie with a lentil and beef cassoulet. It’s brimming with goodness and comes in at under £2.50 a portion. In the Movie Collective, Lou takes a trip to a very atmospheric cinema to watch Kenneth Branagh’s Death on the Nile. Branagh plays Poirot and we get a prequel to the film and a look at a young Poirot’s love life. As good as it was to see it on the big screen, would we recommend you wait until it comes onto the small screen? The WI this week is from Lou and it’s about getting to know and love your body in all its naked glory. So get the heating on and get ready for this revealing WI.
