Paul suggested checking on their followers, but Barnabas wanted Mark along, despite his past failure. Their clash escalated to a heated argument. They split, Barnabas mentoring Mark and Paul moving on with Silas. This shows the importance of love among believers. Eventually, Paul and Mark reconciled, and Mark wrote the Gospel of Mark.
