This week we meet the very lovely Lisa Woodcock who was diagnosed with an incurable auto immune disease PBC (Primary Biliary Cholangitis). 2 years later at 38yrs old years old she received a liver transplant. Lisa Woodcock underwent a liver transplant in October 2021 due to PBC, she is currently on a mission to raise as much awareness as possible around organ donation, immunosuppression, transplants and erase the myths surrounding them. Lisa is very active you can find her on her Peloton, running or cycling or in the kitchen cooking. Lisa was diagnosed with an incurable auto immune disease and was unresponsive to the drugs that would have kept her alive, so her only hope of survival was a transplant.
