Transcript Today’s Bible Translation Bible translation used in today’s episode: Ch. 9-10 NKJV Podcast Introduction It’s Poetry Thursday, and we’ll read Ecclesiastes 9-10.  I’m calling this episode “The Search for Understanding.“ Design: Jason Paschall | Photo: ‘947051 on pixabay.com Summary In Ecclesiastes 9 and 10, the writer, Solomon, reflects on life’s complexities. He had sought wisdom but realized that understanding everything is impossible. He observed that the righteous and wise are under God’s control, which can bring peace. Like a saying from the past, “Let go and let God,” this means accepting that we’re not in total control. Solomon’s pursuit of worldly happiness left him disillusioned. Similarly, trying to understand everything like him can make us cynical. Jesus offered a different kind of peace, not like what the world offers. Recognizing we’re not God and letting go can bring comfort, as handling everything isn’t something we’d even want. Listen to the episode for more! Support This a value for value podcast.
