Between my personal experiences during 9/11 and too many funerals for friends who deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, I'm feeling the full weight of being stuck in the tar pit of survivor's guilt. Thankfully, for me, mountain biking is my miracle. It allows me to leave some of that darkness out on the trail, one ride at a time. That is what today's mix is for me: processing dark thoughts and exercising them in my mind.
