We also got into the wider social picture: propaganda, queueing, obedience, the changing atmosphere of cities, the loss of manners, and whether many people are simply sleepwalking through a system designed to wear them down.From there, the discussion opened out into government, war, media conditioning, AI, the steady erosion of practical skills, and the way institutions shape behaviour. We also spent time on health, food, and self-reliance — from raw milk, eggs, butchers and local produce to diets, processed food, coffee, alcohol, and the question of what our bodies are actually meant to live on.
