Lauryn Hill burst onto the music scene in 1996 as a member of the Fugees. But it was Lauryn's 1998 solo debut The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill that put her on the map.  With over 12 million albums sold worldwide it went on to sweep the 1998 Grammys as Lauryn became the first woman to win 5 or more awards in one night including Grammys for best new artist, best r&b album and album of the year.
