Season 17, Episode 14 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing latest transactions made by the Pittsburgh Steelers. We also go over the known health of the team as they prepare to play their 2026 preseason finale on Thursday night against the Buffalo Bills.
With there being a lot of rumblings concerning Steelers CB Joey Porter Jr. over the last few days, and especially with some of those coming from mainstream NFL insiders, Alex and I take a deeper dive into his situation. We discuss how this coming Sunday is a big day when it comes to Porter and mainly due to him still being listed on the Active/PUP list. We discuss how far away the Steelers might be from getting a contract extension done with Porter at this point and if there are any chances that team could ultimately trade him.
After thoroughly discussing the situation with Porter, Alex and I talk about a few players that seem to be on the proverbial roster bubble heading into the team's preseason finale.
With both of us having now completed our latest 53-man roster predictions as of Wednesday morning, we go over each of them. We discuss the few differences that we have with our roster predictions and why.
Alex and I start winding down this episode by going over several players and things we think deserve being watched closely Thursday night in the preseason finale against the Bills.
